IFFR PAVILION
Rotterdam
For future editions, IFFR wants to develop festival pavilions where visitors can hop on the IFFR shuttle buses that connect the various festival locations in the centre of Rotterdam. Besides the use during the IFFR, the pavilions can serve as 'hop-on/hop-off' stops for tourists of City Sightseeing Rotterdam.
In addition to the films, the film festival offers many other activities for which the pavilion has many facilities. For example, I created a large screen and a meeting space to show films to a varied audience. There is also a theatre for masterclasses and performances. The roofed space for exhibitions adds extra value to the pavilion so that it can also be used for other purposes.
