The proposed architecture project aims to restore the connection between the new building, designed by Kraaijvanger in 1982, and the historic Station Post Office building. The post-office's recent renovation and reconstruction altered the facade structure, resulting in a loss of connection between the two buildings. This proposal aims to bring back the harmony between the two structures in a sustainable and respectful manner. The project presents an opportunity to demonstrate the significance of sustainable design in preserving the historic significance of buildings. The restoration of the facade requires a balance between preservation and innovation while embracing modern design and construction practices.
